Today’s profile is on Ravencoin NFT artist and miner Lampacenter. He lives Slovenia, and has done a lot of advance the cryptocurrency movement in his corner of the world. “It’s one of the smallest and greenest countries in Europe. We are all connected to nature and people. Craftsmanship is part of our culture. From a young age I liked to draw and use my hands to create pieces out of wood and leather- this is my passion, my hobby. I sell them locally and at festivals around country. I make spoons, moccasins, wallets, purses, and even tobacco purses. In addition to this amazing craftmanship, Lampacenter is also a miner and NFT artist for the Ravencoin blockchain. The image posted above is called ‘RavenFly4” and is part of an NFT collection to promote Lampacenter.
Lampacenter is non profitable organization and we use funds and do volunteering job to make a world a better place. I chose the name ‘Lampacenter’ because it as an artistic name as well as it literally says ‘lamp a center’. It is my guiding principle to drop some light in the space whatever form it may be. To research, explore and create this world we live in and that’s how I came across to crypto and nft’s. I was curious what it can offer me and now I’m here using it.
Bitcoin, Ravencoin is open source technology. Anybody can use it and contribute to it. I use only open source software like GIMP to enchant my art, and want to share how I create my art, so others can learn and (DIY) do it yourself. This is the one principle I follow with my art. I learned most of the things I know by people sharing with me, so I like to do the same. LINKS: GIMP https://gimp.org KNOTTER https://knotter.mattbas.org/Knotter
